Our aftercare program knows about the complex and challenging task of preparing patients and families to cope with life-limiting illness, distressing symptom, debilitation and demanding care needs.
This is why we provide professional support for hospice and healthcare workers through our CEU programs with Hospice Foundation of America. We recognize hospice and healthcare workers need to be informed and educated in order to foster preparedness, highlight common myths and misperceptions that lead patients and families to have unrealistic expectations, and provide a deeper understanding of how expectations contribute to reactions of dissatisfaction, guilt, anger, disappointment, hopelessness, and grief.
Here are some of the programs available to professional caregivers, including CEU credit programs and on site training opportunities.
